Subject: Geographer position at Census.

Pat and Dr. Sack,



My branch has a GS 7/9 term geographer posting up on USA Jobs. I have been told to share this with my colleagues, alma maters, alumni groups, or professional organizations. It's a shameless plug to drum up as many applicants as we can get, because we haven't been getting good candidates to fill our vacancies. The posting closes March 20. It's a temporary position, with a Not to Exceed (NTE) date of 9/26/2020. Something to keep in my mind, emphasis on not staying beyond that date, having experience with the Census cutting a lot of positions after the 2020 Census operation, but it's good to have a foot in the door if someone is looking to get into the federal government.
