Master's Level Student Service Contractor: Geographic Information Science and Remote Sensing Research for Coastal Wetlands and Barrier Islands U.S. Geological Survey, Wetland and Aquatic Research Center We anticipate hiring a Student Services Contractor to assist with a several geographic information science and remote sensing research projects related to coastal wetlands and barrier islands. This student contract position is open to a recent graduate with a M.S. degree (i.e., graduated within the last year). This Student Services Contractor will help with the following activities: (1) geospatial data compilation; (2) data management; (3) remote sensing; (4) working with python scripts; (5) geospatial analysis; (6) figure and table preparation; (7) verbal and written communication of results; and (8) assisting and reviewing the work of other team members. In addition to the project described above, the student may also assist with other projects on an ad-hoc basis.
