Dear all, Hocking College is looking for an instructor to teach a basic GIS/GPS course. It's an applied course in the service of wildlife biologists. There are 4 sections which meet 4 hours twice a week. The pay is $2100 per section I believe. This will be for 8 weeks. So, it's about $8400 for 8 weeks of work. A person can do all of these sections or only some. Please share this with your student contacts with enough experience to teach a class. They need somebody to start in October and end this in December. The contact and full details about the class are pasted below, along with a syllabus which is attached. If they cannot find anybody, they can consider virtual teaching as well, if they get really desperate, so please don't limit it to people in the Athens area.
