Maybe something of interest to your former students and colleagues. They are GS 13/14 slots so for people who have been out of school with some experience already. This office is a small cross-cutting by topic, region, and office within USAID that is in a research, training, and support role for field-based missions and partners. It is not a field-based implementer. So they are looking for people with research, analysis, backgrounds – big emphasis on quant skills for at least the first position.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:#1F497D'>I’ve worked on projects from this office for the past 7 years so happy to provide more context if that would be helpful although my point of entry has been natural resources, food, climate, governance points of entry and they look at a lot more that I am not as connected with.<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:#1F497D'>Best, <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:#1F497D'>Geoff<o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif;color:#1F497D'><o:p> </o:p></span></p><div><div><blockquote style='border:none;border-left:solid #CCCCCC 1.0pt;padding:0in 0in 0in 6.0pt;margin-left:4.8pt;margin-top:5.0pt;margin-right:0in;margin-bottom:5.0pt'><div><div><div><p class=MsoNormal> <o:p></o:p></p></div></div><div><p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:12.0pt'><br>On Dec 4, 2014, at 11:39 AM, "Cynthia Brady" <<a href="mailto:cbrady@usaid.gov" target="_blank">cbrady@usaid.gov</a>> wrote:<o:p></o:p></p></div><blockquote style='margin-top:5.0pt;margin-bottom:5.0pt'><div><div><p class=MsoNormal>Dear Geoff and Roger-Mark,<o:p></o:p></p><div><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p></div><div><p class=MsoNormal>Kindly let your networks know that CMM is currently advertising two new positions, one is focused on policy development and the other is focused on research and analysis.
