to understand visitor and resident perceptions about a landscape-scale effort to restore 37,000 acres of pine barren and northern dry forests. This two-year assistantship, including a 6 week internship for a graduate student at the USFS Northern Research Station
(NRS) in Evanston, will entail creating and implementing a landowner survey, on-site visitor surveys, and roving focus groups that will culminate in a master’s thesis.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
