<span style="color:black"> The Research Climatologist will be expected to engage climate-related stakeholders in Mississippi, Louisiana, and Texas, including government agencies, private businesses, and individuals. The candidate will be responsible for fostering
interconnections between stakeholders and SCIPP scientists. The Research Climatologist will interact with the public as well as climatologists and computer specialists at the Southern Regional Climate Center, the Louisiana Office of State Climatology, and
partners at the University of Oklahoma. The successful candidate will also conduct applied research relevant to the project stakeholders and assist in maintaining our SURGEDAT storm surge database.
