Nancy, Henry Ford Health System has had a partnership with a FQHC for many years in Southwest Detroit. The FQHC is CHASS (Community Health and Social Services). It is my understanding that this partnership includes a linkage for primary care residency training at CHASS. I do not have a contact, but the attached reference provides the name of the Center's Medical Director. http://www.henryfordhealth.org/body.cfm?xyzpdqabc=0&id=46335&action=deta il&ref=1007 Paul Paul E. HI Fellows: I am getting in touch to see if any of you have had experience setting up/running a family practice residency program in a federally qualified health center. An Ohio hospital is in the process of starting a GME program in a FQHC, and one of the administrators involved would very much like to talk to someone who has experience with the business end of such a venture. Thanks for getting in touch if you have experience with a hospital/FQHC residency program - particularly the reimbursement process. Many thanks.
