Hi Fellows: The Journal of the American Osteopathic Association (JAOA) is issuing a call for papers for the 2016 edition of the theme issue on osteopathic medical education. The JAOA invites medical educators and researchers to submit original research, reviews, and expert commentary relevant to the following topics: * impact of the single graduate medical education accreditation system on undergraduate and graduate osteopathic medical education * factors associated with osteopathic medical students' selection of specialty and osteopathic vs allopathic graduate medical education * innovative curriculum and evaluation practices in osteopathic medical schools and residency programs, especially: * systems-based practice * interprofessional education * chronic disease prevention and management * information technology * methodology of competency outcome assessment * professionalism * 360-degree evaluation * osteopathic clinical education, especially advances in: * third- and fourth-year clinical core rotations * curriculum standardization * primary care education * incorporation of osteopathic principles and practice * how new osteopathic medical schools are achieving their missions All manuscripts are subject to the review and approval of the AOA editor in chief and the guest editor of the JAOA's annual osteopathic medical education theme issue.
