Greetings!

The University of Findlay (UF) is hosting its Second Biennial Conference on
Centers for Teaching, Learning, Faculty Development and Technology Support,
May 7 – 8, 2009. This year's conference is entitled Beyond Teaching and
Technology: Growth and Change at Faculty Support Centers. The conference
promises to provide an exciting, valuable opportunity for the sharing of
innovative ideas and programs. We hope you will consider attending!

Since the inception of our own TLTC at UF, we have experienced growth,
development and transformation as a result of responding to faculty and
institutional needs and goals. The Conference provides the opportunity to
share with other committed faculty and professionals your own organization's
story of change, growth, integration, etc. This can be a discussion of major
organizational transformation, or an account of how an introduced
approach/program has assisted in achieving your Center's goals. There should
be many interested participants ready to engage in dialogue with you at the
Conference; we had over 25 different educational institutions represented at
the 2007 Conference (over 130 individuals in attendance). SEED 2007 had
attendees from Indiana, Michigan, Illinois, Pennsylvania and Ohio.

I do hope that you will consider submitting a proposal for a presentation at
SEED 2009 and information about the submission process is on the attached
flyer. The deadline for submission of proposals is January 15, 2009. During
this time of new challenges in higher education, SEED 2009 offers a valuable
opportunity for those working in a variety of faculty development endeavors
to come together and share experiences. Please contact us, if you have any
questions regarding our Conference.
