2011 OETC Call for Proposals is now open!

We are pleased to announce that the *call for proposals is now open* for the
Ohio Educational Technology Conference, the one place in Ohio where faculty,
administrators, librarians, teachers, and technology gurus will meet to
discuss learning, libraries, and the convergence of these activities in
higher education and K-12. The Conference, scheduled for January 31 -
February 2, 2011, will bring together over 6,500 educators from higher
education and K-12 across the state of Ohio. Educators will learn how
technology and its uses cross the educational spectrum, can positively
impact our students’ progress, bring together campus collaborations, and
provide us with professional development that emphasizes how current
technology is a resource for educators not just the solution.

*About the Conference*

This year's theme, *Learning Through Innovation*, invites proposals that
embrace thoughtful integration of technology into the classroom experience;
share efficiencies with technological advances in the administering of
education; and evaluate tools for teaching all of our students. The Ohio
Learning Network and eTech Ohio continue to collaborate with numerous state
agencies and educational institutions to provide a premiere professional
development event for faculty, instructional designers, administrators,
librarians, students, teachers and technology coordinators. We are seeking
interactive and engaging proposals for presentations, pre-conference
workshops and technology demonstrations. Proposals are sought for the
following topics:

   - Digital textbooks
   - K-16 Collaborations
   - Assessment
   - Fostering Collaboration
   - Emerging Technologies
   - Planning and Designing Learning Environments
   - Applying Technology in Learning and Assessment
   - Your ideas!
