Because I was on leave this quarter I didn’t have an opportunity to
‘publicize’ a graduate course I teach on children/youth and media.  It is a
500 level course that, because the topic is so diverse, is taught around the
students’ interest.  The syllabus is structured around general topics and
historical content and assignments but I take a poll the first class and add
readings particular to the students’ area of interest.
