 Dear Provosts – I’d like to extend the invite for this event to your
graduate students. Please forward as you see fit. There are a limited number
of seats.

 The Graduate Student Innovation Forum will be a direct dialogue between
state leaders and graduate students across the State of Ohio. The mission of
the forum is to generate ideas, improve communication and increase awareness
to promote job creation in the State of Ohio. Through a two hour world cafe
style dialogue, we hope to give concrete ideas on strategies for attracting
and retaining graduate students, increasing communication and generating
ideas on entrepreneurial activities. The event will be held on Thursday,
October 13, from 4-6 p.m. in the Cartoon Room of the Ohio Union.
Distinguished guests and participants include: Jim Petro, Chancellor, Ohio
Board of Regents; Dr. Gordon Gee, President, The Ohio State University; Dr.
Pat Osmer, Dean of the Graduate School, The Ohio State University; and Norm
Chagnon, Director, Third Frontier Commission. We also expect guests from the
Ohio Department of Development, Board of Regents, and other Entrepreneurial
organizations in Central Ohio.
