Hello Graduates:

I am writing to find out if there is a doctoral student that will be here
in the summer that would be interested in working with the Woodrow Wilson
Fellows the first quarter of the summer face-to-face and online the
remainder of the summer. It is also helpful for you to be a continuing
student in the fall semester as this may actually be long term. The
WWFellows are a group of people who are leaving the profession they are in
and becoming science and math teachers. The focus of your work would be to
help the group become an online community through online conversations and
discussions. I have no idea of the technology skill level of the group but
I thought this might make a really good 'paper' for the work of the summer
and there is a stipend for the work.

I need someone with good Blackboard development skills and who likes to
work with wikis and community building through online conversations. If
you are interested let me know ASAP. I will be in my office at 2:00 if you
are interested or have questions (on Tues). There is a meeting at the HRTC
on Tuesday afternoon from 4-6 that I would like for you to attend if
possible.

Thanks,
Dr. Franklin
