I am reaching out to you because you may have doctoral or masters (advanced) students who are interested in science education, even though they have not chosen the field as their primary area of study. Please consider recommending the course to your students. EDTE 840 - The course explores select areas of research within the field of science education, including investigations in culture gender, society, curriculum, assessment, and the teaching and learning of science in the P-16 setting. The course is designed to develop students’ knowledge of particular research traditions, with a focus on the questions under investigation, methodologies used, theoretical underpinnings, and findings. This knowledge is intended to serve as a foundation upon which students can build future research.
