The Bank helps to ensure a well-functioning and successful economy and ensure the safety, soundness and economic vitality of our region and the financial system. We are making an innovative learning game about macroeconomics for high school students. The Monetary Policy Online (MPO) game is being designed to help students understand the economy as a system of relationships and the role and impact of the Federal Reserve within that system. This part-time position is based in New York City. The Consultant will support the preparation of outreach plans and campaigns to drive the uptake and use of an online learning game and portal. She or he will help research and develop a keen understanding of customer (school system, educator, and student) needs and values in order to maximize uptake. The Consultant will help encapsulate an understanding of the challenges these customers face and demonstrate how educational software products can help solve them and work with the project team to design, draft, develop, package efforts to market the value the online game can deliver to customers. Qualifications · Strong written communication skills. · Experience in educational sales and/or a related educational field a plus. · Knowledge of educational technology and media marketplace. · Ability to apply energy and creativity to crafting and helping to attain marketing goals. · Passion for bringing technology into the classroom. · Excellent planning, organizational, and prioritization skills. · An entrepreneurial spirit with a strong customer focus. · Highly self-motivated and proactive. *Online Game Promotion and Marketing Consultant* We seek an individual to assist with online game promotion and marketing planning. This part-time position is based in New York City. The Consultant will support the development of an online game social media roadmap and outreach plan for the development and launch lifecycle, with associated metrics and goals. The Consultant will help develop MPO online game campaign strategies in line with FRBNY marketing/brand/PR objectives, including insight around targeted gaming sites, journalists and influencers. She or he will help to define key positioning, message, and campaign concepts to achieve business outcomes. The Consultant will help build the capacity of the MPO Team to create a strong, engaged, and enthusiastic social, digital, and mobile media audience for the on-line video game. The Consultant will help identify the best social media tools and platforms in order to grow oneline brand and increase engagement. She or he will identify game forums, blogs, and online publications relevant to promotion, and support the creation of a strategy to drive player traffic from gaming, entertainment and related sites. She or he will support efforts to develop an inventory of marketing assets (art, packaging, marketing text, image and video content, display ads, widgets) and to facilitate the release of assets to licensees. Qualifications · Excellent writing skills. · Well versed in social media platforms and trends. A passion for videogame and online culture. · Experience in marketing online/free-to-play video games.
