<br>Loyola Marymount University is currently seeking an Instructional Technology Manager within Information Technology Services. <br> <br>This position will provide leadership and management oversight of Instructional Technology Analysts (ITA's). The ITA is the primary support for faculty in the use of technology in teaching, learning, and research. ITA's assist in the assessment of teaching/learning challenges and provide tools, resources, and training to the faculty that will help address these challenges. The Manager coordinates and manages academic technology services for online, technology enhanced classrooms, and lab environments. Additionally, the Instructional Technology Support Manager coordinates with faculty and administration to design and support academic technology use on a school wide basis. The incumbent will contribute to the success of all technology enhanced learning initiatives by demonstrating professionalism, engaging in strategic planning for instructional technology support, and superior customer service. <br>

<br>We seek candidates who typically hold a Master's degree in Curriculum and/or Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Management, Communication or related field or equivalent experience. Incumbent will be expected to continue upgrading knowledge, skills, and abilities needed to keep abreast of regulation and policy changes. Three (3) to five (5) years related experience and/or training in the field of technology enhanced education for adults, or academic technology support in higher education required. Demonstrated knowledge in the areas of: E-learning evaluation and assessment, blended learning approaches, strategic and tactical planning, budget oversight, and competency in the course management systems required. Applicants must possess excellent analytical, verbal and written communication skills, as well as presentation skills. Experience with managing, and promoting an enterprise Learning Management System, specifically Blackboard, and other enterprise level instructional technologies is vital. Previous management experience and good project management skills is essential.<br>
