Dear OCEES faculty  -
In reference to Dean Frank's visit tomorrow, you should know that Board of Trustees approved the continuation of OCEES at its Oct meeting. I have attached the relevant docs presented to the board. I have highlighted the recommendations made by the review cmte which include faculty hires...just want everyone to be informed who has not seen this (nor the review of OCEES).  Is it worth having a mtg before the mtg for those who can to strategize?

This week's Ecolunch is an OCEES faculty meeting with Dean Robert Frank from the College of Arts and Sciences.  There is no agenda so I have no idea what to expect. I know that he is taking the initiative to talk with all of the programs on centers in A&S. I am hoping that one of the things that may be open for discussion is the opportunity for an OCEES hire.
