Dear All,

I am looking into the demand across the sciences for graduate level statistics classes (both biostats and multivariate). Currently a Biostatistics course is taught every spring in Plant Biology by Rebecca Snell (PBIO 5150). In addition, Rebecca and Kelly Williams team teach a mutlivariate statistics class every other year, and in some cases Kelly Williams has taught this course on the opposite years . The team taught course will be offered in Fall 2021 (not fall 2020 or spring 2021). I am collecting some information on the need for more graduate level statistics classes. 1) Do you have a biostatistics and/or multivariate statistics course being offered in your department? How often?
 2) If not, how many graduate students do you have that would be interested or needing to take either of these courses this year? Next year?
