    Many of us, perhaps all of us, have enjoyed the natural areas of southern
Ohio and especially woodlands around the Hocking Hills.  Here is an
opportunity to expand with 108 acres purchased through the Arc of
Appalachia.  I am a member and have donated to this endeavor and highly
encourage you to contribute as well.

*Announcing a campaign to purchase Ash Cave Eastern Reserve*

       It would have been prudent to ignore the *For Sale* sign on OH-56,
just east of Ash Cave, but we just couldn't make ourselves do it. The
property is too extraordinary. Lying in the heart of Hocking Hills, it
boasts mature trees, deep hemlock ravines, and stunning rock formations.
But to fully complete the campaign will require raising $435,000 before
our closing date of September 1, 2020 - which is coming up fast. The video
below speaks louder than words on why this property is so important. So
