Hello OWMA Family,

The OWMA board hopes to see you at the annual meeting on January 19th and the Ohio Wildlife Management Conference on January 20th, 2023. For more details see the attached "Save the Date" and preliminary agenda.

Conference registration is now open! Registration is $35 for professionals and $20 for students. The registration cost includes your annual OWMA membership and lunch at the conference venue. Lunch can only be guaranteed for those registered before January 10th, 2023. Parking passes will be available to print.

The deadline for abstracts has been extended to December 14th, 2022. See the attached "Call for Abstracts" for more details on how to submit an abstract for an oral presentation or poster.

We need to fill two OWMA board positions this winter. Contact us by December 18th, 2022, if you are interested in one of the positions below:

  *   President-elect - A three-year term (one year as president-elect, one year as president, and one year as past-president)
  *   Secretary - A two-year term

Lastly, please consider nominating a fellow OWMA member for the Annual Achievement Award. This award is presented in recognition of an outstanding contribution to wildlife research and management in Ohio. Nominations are due by December 18th, 2022. See the award criteria at the link below.
