Welcome all to the start of spring quarter,


  1.  There will be an OCEES faculty meeting tomorrow beginning at 11:50 in Irvine 159. This will be an in-person meeting with a Teams option. Stay tuned for a Teams invite via this listserve for those faculty who cannot attend in person.
  2.  Ecolunch will move forward this semester the old fashioned way at out standard starting time of 11:50 on Wednesdays in Irvine 159. Please try to come in person but due to the enhanced attendance there will be a Teams option too. Next week's seminar will be Marisa Dowalter talking about her Lake Erie Watersnake Project
  3.  There is one open slot available for an Ecolunch for 1 February. It would be awesome if we can get someone to fill that slot. Thanks to all who stepped up to give presentations. I will have the official schedule together as soon as I have titles.
  4.  Those of you who have volunteered to give an Ecolunch presentation please get your titles to me by Friday.
  5.  We have 5 students enrolled in the UGRIP BIOS 3880 class so Ecolunch speakers please be prepared to stay until 13:40.
  6.  OCEES Graduate Student research fellowship application announcement coming later today.
  7.  If there are new faculty or students that should be part of this list, direct them to https://listserv.ohio.edu/mailman/listinfo/ocees 
so they can sign onto the listserve.
