First of all, I wanted to take a moment to extend my heartfelt thanks to each of you for your active participation in the recent BSGS nominations and voting process for our Alumni Speaker. We are thrilled to announce that Prof. Daniel Rabosky< https://lsa.umich.edu/ummz/people/curators-staff/drabosky.html > from the University of Michigan has been selected as our Alumni Speaker following a highly successful nomination process. Prof. Rabosky, an Ohio University alumni, is renowned for his work on species diversity, ecological interactions, and morphological diversity in reptiles and amphibians 🦎🐍 . Join us on April 22nd (upcoming Monday) at 4 PM in Irvine 159 for a seminar featuring Prof. Rabosky, generously funded by BIOS. His talk, "The predictability of macroevolution: innovation and diversification across squamate reptiles and beyond," promises to be thought-provoking and relevant to a wide range of interests.
