We're excited to announce that DJ Morgan will be defending his doctoral dissertation this coming Friday, May 17th, at 11 AM in Irvine 159. DJ's title is "Physiological adaptations to secondarily aquatic lifestyles in extinct marine reptiles (Mosasauroidea and Sauropterygia) based on morphological and quantitative analyses of the cranial vascular systems of extant Sauropsida."

DJ's doctoral dissertation committee includes Sabrina Curran, Shawn Kuchta, Pat O'Connor, and me (Witmer).

For those who haven't heard the news, later this summer, DJ will be starting a postdoc at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, working in the lab of Dr. Amy Balanoff.
