or passing other milestones in their career) for many programs around the world. OCEES’s current twitter account has almost 600 followers and most of these are at other institutions. When I perused our followers, I was quite surprised and impressed with who
was following us and quickly realized that we should be more active in either posting ourselves or sending our accomplishments to Janette for her to post, preferably with a picture. It will be great exposure and enhance the recruitment in our graduate programs

</span></span></span><![endif]>Janette Perez-Jimenez has agreed to manage our social media, primarily twitter and Facebook for this semester. Twitter is becoming more and more of an outlet for research and other accomplishments (e.g. students successfully defending
or passing other milestones in their career) for many programs around the world. OCEES’s current twitter account has almost 600 followers and most of these are at other institutions. When I perused our followers, I was quite surprised and impressed with who
was following us and quickly realized that we should be more active in either posting ourselves or sending our accomplishments to Janette for her to post, preferably with a picture. It will be great exposure and enhance the recruitment in our graduate programs
