Dustin, As I read the following parts of your answer to question #1 I gained another perspective on the relationship and importance of having both leadership and managerial qualities. The question was posed to look at the absence of leadership while containing managerial qualities. Your statements allowed me to see the importance of being a good manager in the sense that 'being a good manager' is almost necessary when it comes to being a good leader. If you fail in the managerial aspect, you will most certainly struggle getting stakeholders to follow and in-trust in you as a leader. In the end, whether you manage well yourself or have a really good staff to help, it must be done to ensure true leadership. Managerial aspects of administration take on the internal workings of the organization and allow a comfortable relationship with the environment and the school. The managerial aspect creates a healthy, organized, and comfortable environment that is suitable for all stakeholders of a school. ...Stakeholders will entrust in an effective manager and with their decision making. The amount of push back will dramatically reduce and the amount of belief will pull stakeholders in the proper direction of a successful school environment. Effective managers will direct stakeholders which are made up of the entire community of a school to entrust and be engrained in the school makeup. Thanks!
