SATURDAY. WHILE IT IS TOO EARLY TO DETERMINE WHAT IMPACT IT WILL
HAVE IN THE AREA...PEOPLE SHOULD BEGIN TO MONITOR THE FORECAST TO
BETTER PREPARE FOR POTENTIAL WINTER IMPACTS.

AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE WILL MOVE SOUTH OF THE REGION TODAY AS AN
UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE APPROACHES FROM THE WEST. THIS WILL PROVIDE
SOME PRECIPITATION...MORE SO OVER VA AND SOUTHERN AND EASTERN
WEST VIRGINIA. A COUPLE OF INCHES OF SNOW ARE POSSIBLE IN THE WEST
VIRGINIA MOUNTAINS.

HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS IN FOR WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY...PROVIDING FOR
DRY CONDITIONS WITH SEASONABLE TEMPERATURES.

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL LIFT NORTHEAST FROM THE CENTRAL GULF
COAST TO THE MID ATLANTIC COAST FRIDAY...SPREADING PRECIPITATION
ACROSS THE AREA IN THE FORM OF SNOW FOR THE MOUNTAINS AND RAIN OR
SNOW ACROSS THE LOWLANDS. SNOW SHOWERS AND COLD FOR THE WEEKEND AS
THE WRAPAROUND EFFECT OF THE LOW IS SLOW TO DEPART.
