Effective Dec. 1, 2015, the Charleston WV National Weather Service office, which is responsible for watch/warning/forecast products for many Southeast Ohio counties, will begin issuing Experimental Snow/Ice Total products ahead of anticipated winter storms. Graphical and tabular products will show the least, most likely, and largest snow amounts a storm is likely to produce. Narrow ranges between the minimum and maximum snowfall totals indicate high forecast certainty, while large ranges between minimum and maximum totals indicate low forecast certainty.
