More isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected today with the warm front lifting back to the north. However, most of the area will likely stay dry until this evening. A weak wave of low pressure moves into the Ohio Valley this evening and may bring a line of showers and storms through the area, much like we saw on Friday night. A cold front crosses Sunday night into Monday. A stronger system approaches for the middle of next week. ===================================================================== The "StormFlood" Listserv is a regional preparedness and planning partnership including Ohio University Risk Management and Safety. http://www.ohio.edu/riskandsafety/ Affiliated web services: Southeast Ohio Flood Potential Monitoring page: http://seorf.ohiou.edu/xx073/floodprep.html Athens Co.
