Hazardous Weather Outlook

Periods of rain, some heavy at times, is expected Wednesday into
Thursday, with additional rounds of rain expected Friday into the
weekend. This could create additional flooding issues across the
region. Although exact details are still uncertain, southeast Ohio,
and areas near to the Ohio River look to be most vulnerable.

A warm day is expected today, with many areas surging toward record
highs. Showers, along with some thunderstorms will return on
Wednesday as a cold front approaches the region, and then stalls out
over the Ohio Valley.  Similar to recent wet patterns, systems will
move across the boundary generating periods of rain through the end
of the work week and weekend. The potential for flooding will remain
high into this weekend, as any additional rainfall will likely
become problematic.
