...DISCUSSION.....

A cold front will push east across the region today with showers and
thunderstorms accompanying the front. The best chances of thunderstorms
will be across West Virginia where a few strong storms may occur in the
afternoon, mainly across the eastern half of the state. It will be very
warm again today, but will become cooler tonight with lows falling back
into the 50s. The front will stall over the southern Appalchians on
Saturday, and then get pulled back northward, as a warm front, as another
low pressure system tracks north of the area on Sunday. This is likely to
bring wet weather for the latter half of the weekend, with thunderstorms
also possible on Sunday, some of which could be strong to severe. In the
wake of the system, clouds and showers, along with cooler conditions will
prevail Monday, before high pressure finally brings dry weather into the
area Tuesday.
