Professional Experience

In the early 1970s, Raymond spent several years in Fifth Third Bank’s Trust Department as an investment officer. He obtained an MBA in finance from Xavier University in 1976 and a Charter Analyst Degree from the New York Institute of Finance. Over the last thirty years he has been active as an entrepreneur and investor in numerous endeavors. He has provided active management and working capital for the formation of a number of businesses ranging from an automotive repair business, printing company, real estate leasing and consulting, real estate ownership, a national photographic processing and decor retailer, propane distribution service, and two medical products manufacturers. He was a major shareholder and board member of the Hudepohl Brewing Co. and active in merging two breweries to form the Hudepohl-Schoenling Brewery and owner of Hudepohl-Schoenling Distribution Co. He has continued actively investing in opportunities and managing millions in private money. Currently, he is co-founder of an electronic publishing company, The Fax Medley Group, publisher of Business Digest, a daily client relations tool.

He has been active in the education of his children, serving on the board of Summit Country Day School for 12 years, five of those as chairman of the board, during which time he led the school through its largest capital campaign of more than $8 million. Currently, he still serves as chairman of the school’s endowment board. He is also currently chair of the Advisory Board for the Sisters of Notre Dame Demur, who are currently raising $6 million.

Mr. Schilderink met his wife Lynda at Ohio University, from which she, her mother, father, and two brothers are all graduates. The couple has a family of nine children. Mr. Schilderink continues to be active in many aspects of his children’s lives, including coaching soccer, baseball, and lacrosse.
