Note that student veterans, active military members, Ohio University alumni and corporate partners are eligible to receive up to a 15% OHIO online incentive scholarship.

This program features multiple certificate options: AI in Business, Accounting and Organizations, Business Analytics, Business Analytics Leadership, Business Venturing and Entrepreneurship, Executive Management for Health Care Professionals, Finance, Human Resources Management, Operations and Supply Chain Management, Project Management, and Strategic Selling and Sales Leadership. Students are required to choose two of these certificates, in addition to the Management & Leadership certificate and capstone experience, to complete their MSM degree.

When you graduate, you will have an MSM degree, a Management and Leadership Certificate, and two certificates from the list above.

Coursework is delivered 100% online. However, students in the MSM program are required to attend our on-campus Leadership Development Conference. This two-day learning opportunity allows students to network with their peers, program faculty and alumni in person while attending general business presentations and MSM-specific breakout sessions.

The online MSM degree program is designed to prepare students for a wide range of mid- and upper-management roles. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects management occupations will grow 8% from 2021 to 2031, adding about 1.1 million new jobs to the market. The median salary for management occupations is $102,450, which is the highest wage of all major occupational groups.

Possible job titles for MSM graduates include public relations and fundraising manager, business management analyst, operations manager, human resources manager, compensation and benefits manager, sales manager, and financial manager.
