Improving Your Study Skills

Now that you have set aside the necessary time to study, you want to use that time effectively. Studying for Ohio University courses is often quite different from high school or from community colleges. You are responsible for learning more over a shorter period of time and you are expected to understand and apply that learning. If you need help honing your study skills, you should consider enrolling in Learning Strategies (UC 1100). The Academic Achievement Center provides students with help in improving their study skills, as well as writing and math assistance.
