Hometown:Mentor, Ohio
Expected Graduation Date:Spring 2020
Ohio University had never been a part of Sarah’s plan, but the moment she stepped foot on campus she knew that she had found the place to call home for the next four years.
After declaring a major in Aviation Flight during her sophomore year, she fell even more in love with OHIO and the opportunities it provides her with. She now holds a private pilot’s license with an instrument rating, and is looking forward to starting her commercial rating training in the fall.
Outside of classes, Sarah is a member of OHIO’s Women in Aviation International Chapter, a member of the aviation fraternity Alpha Eta Rho, and part of the Flying Bobcats, OHIO’s Flight Team.
During the summer, Sarah worked as a student dispatcher at Ohio University’s Gordon K. Bush airport while taking summer classes and continuing her flight training.
