Expected Graduation:Spring 2022
Andrew only visited Ohio University one time before applying, but multiple family members attended OHIO before him. Andrew’s grandfather attended OHIO, where he got his bachelor’s in chemical engineering, after World War II. Andrew’s mom attended Ohio University between the years 1988- 1992 where she received a degree in industrial technology (which now engineering technology and management). When deciding what program he wanted to go into, Andrew applied to the ETM department not knowing that was essentially the degree his mom had too.
Andrew was always a hands-on learner during school so he realized the ETM program was for him. Andrew earned his first internship after his freshman year with a company in his hometown that remanufactures 1955-56-57 Chevys, all brand new. For Andrew’s second internship, he got a job doing sales and logistics for Fyda Freightliner of Cincinnati. With the positions he has in the Ralph and Luci Schey Sales Centre, Andrew thought it would be a good idea to get a sales internship to help expand his knowledge of a buyer and seller.
Andrew is the president of Epsilon Pi Tau (EPT), the ETM honor society; Vice-President of the National Fluid Power Association Club; Treasurer of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers; and Director of Campus Relations in the Schey Sales Centre.
In his free time, Andrew spends time with friends, plays video games, and plays intramural sports.
