Cherita worked with OGO from 2013-2021, she briefly left and worked with our Affiliate Provider AIFS and is excited to be back with the Office of Global Opportunities. As a Global Programs Coordinator, Cherita is supervising our Peer Advising team and leading our advising initiatives.
Cherita is originally from Athens and a two-time alumna of Ohio University, having completed her both bachelor’s in psychology, Spanish and sociology criminology, and her Masters in Spanish at OHIO. During her time as a student, she traveled on OHIO credit programs to South Africa, Spain and Mexico. Cherita has lived and worked in Mexico for over 6 years. She has done solo travel to different parts of Mexico and Guatemala, travel for tourism to France, Italy, Barbados, the Bahamas, and the Netherlands, and she has traveled to Ecuador and Oman as part of her professional roles.
