In general, only current Ohio University students, employees, and emeriti can access databases and other electronic resources licensed to Ohio University Libraries. For summer access, students must be enrolled in both the spring semester prior and the fall semester subsequent, if not enrolled in summer courses. If you are not currently affiliated with the university, the options below may still provide some access to resources and content.
Access at Ohio University Libraries
Access to subscription resources is available on specific computers in Alden Library and the Music and Dance Library . Just ask at the Service Desk and we will be happy to help you.
Access within Ohio
Although Alumni, Friends of the Libraries, and Community Patrons do not have access to electronic subscription content, the Ohio Web Library provides access to a few similar resources within the state of Ohio. Access is available through your local public library or the State Library of Ohio.

Your local public library can provide you with

Your local state-funded university should allow guest access to many services, though this can vary by institution. Ask about their guest options.
