Sign up for spring CHIP cohort now

The Complete Health Improvement Program (CHIP) is a research-tested, intensive lifestyle intervention designed to prevent, arrest, and facilitate the reversal of many common chronic diseases. With CHIP, you can experience remarkable benefits gained through simple lifestyle changes, many of which you'll begin to see in a matter of weeks.  

Over 300 people have already taken advantage of this wellness benefit offered by Life Healthy Appalachia and the Ohio University Benefits Office.*  

Class sessions will be held:
Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:15 to 6:15 pm
Human Resources and Training Center, Room 141-145
Feb.13 through April 23

Whether you want to make gradual changes or are ready to make a leap toward better health, CHIP will provide you with the research, recipes, and support that you need to succeed.

Meet your CHIP facilitator Coleen Dietsch-Krubl
Hello! Participating in CHIP has had a tremendously beneficial impact on my health.  But let me back up.  I have always been a fairly active person and, what I thought, was a healthy eater.  I thought I was doing pretty good.  However, because I've long had an interest in studying nutrition and health, when the opportunity to participate in CHIP presented itself last year, I jumped on it.  Through this, I discovered there was SO much more I could be doing to facilitate optimal health for myself!  I have implemented changes in my diet and lifestyle based on what I learned in CHIP that have resulted in my cholesterol being lowered to a stellar level, better gut health, reduced arthritis pain and greatly improved sleep (prior to CHIP I used an over-the-counter sleep aid but now I don't need it)! I found the knowledge gained through CHIP so profound and impactful that I decided to become a part of the team that helps spread the word.  I look forward to seeing you in class.  Here's to a healthier you!
