Ohio University’s Culinary Services has launched the Curbside Community Meals program to provide safe carryout food service to members of the University and local community.
The program, which begins on Monday, Aug. 24, is designed to offer off-campus Ohio University students and employees, as well as community members, with a quick option for lunches and dinners while maintaining social distancing protocols.
The curbside meal service will be offered at the Central Food Facility at 120 S. Shafer Street in Athens. The meals must be ordered and paid for online by noon for the following day’s pickup.

Each individual meal, which costs $10.95, includes an entrée (vegetarian options available), one or two sides, choice of fruit, choice of dessert and choice of beverage.
Pickup times are 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday through Friday. Individuals can park in one of the two designated Curbside Community Meals pickup spots at the Central Food Facility and should call 740-597-9037 to alert staff of their arrival.
For safety precautions and to maintain social distancing, meals will be brought out by a Culinary Services staff member.
