HOUSING & RESIDENCE LIFE
Return to Campus
Move-in for those approved to live in on-campus housing will take place Sept. 22-26. All students should self-quarantine for two weeks prior to returning to Athens.
ACADEMICS
Course Schedules
Many students in Phase 2 will have some face-to-face experiences, but the majority of courses will continue online. Students will receive direction from their instructors for courses with in-person requirements.
HOUSING OPT-OUT
Remote Alternative
If you are approved for Phase 2 but do not plan to return to live on campus, you need to complete an intent to remain online form by Sept. 10 at 9 a.m. The form can be found through your myhousing portal.

Decisions for return were based on essential in-person educational requirements, and which programs would most benefit from access to labs, studios and specialized equipment.

R.I.S.E.–Recovery to Inspire, Share and Empower–provides support and resources for students in recovery from alcohol, drugs and addictive behaviors; students seeking recovery; and students impacted by the addiction of a loved one.

Confidential Resources
The information reported through the COVID Hotline, Athens City-County Health Department, and COVID case managers will be confidential, and reporting through these channels is required. As a confidential resource, you will not get in trouble about how you were exposed to COVID-19, we simply want to make sure you are taken care of and we need your help to make sure you aren't putting others at risk. However, failure to report or cooperate with any contact tracing efforts is a violation of the student Code of Conduct.
