With the surge in cases we are seeing on our campuses, in Ohio, and across the nation, getting vaccinated against COVID-19 as soon as possible can help make a difference in case rates and the stress on our hospital systems.
To encourage unvaccinated students, faculty, and staff to beat the University’s Nov. 15 vaccination deadline, COVID Operations has created a new incentive program that will run this Friday through Oct. 29.
- Any OHIO employee who has received a one-dose COVID-19 vaccine or both doses of a two-dose vaccine after August 31 will receive $100.
- Each week the University will conduct a drawing for eligible students (those who have received a one-dose COVID-19 vaccine or both doses of a two-dose vaccine after Aug. 31), selecting 100 students per week to receive $100 in Bobcat Cash .
- Sororities and fraternities that achieve 90 percent vaccination among members will receive a $500 contribution to a charity of their choice.
- Residence halls that achieve 95 percent vaccination will be invited a fall-themed block party.
Program details will be available soon at Bobcats Get Vaxxed .
