Ohio University announces transition for Strategy and Innovation Office

Ohio University has announced a transition for its Strategy and Innovation Office.

Brad Cohen, who currently serves as the senior vice provost for instructional innovation and chief strategy and innovation officer, announced in April that he will be leaving the University for another position in June.

Beginning in June, functions within the Strategy and Innovation Office will be realigned to existing units.

  • The Office of Information Technology (OIT) will report directly to the President. OIT will also have dotted line reporting to the Executive Vice President and Provost and the Vice President for Finance and Administration. 
  • The Office of Instructional Innovation will report directly to the Executive Vice President and Provost.
  • University Planning will report to the Vice President for Finance and Administration. University Planning will also have dotted line reporting to the Executive Vice President and Provost.

“I am grateful to Brad and his team for the work they accomplished,” President Hugh Sherman said. “Strategy and innovation remain central to the success of our University.”
