Ohio University Professor of Political Science Kathleen Sullivan and Patricia Strach have been awarded the prestigious Dennis Judd Best Book Award by the American Political Science Association's Section on Urban and Local Politics for their groundbreaking book, "The Politics of Trash: How Governments Used Corruption to Clean Cities, 1890–1929" (Cornell University Press, 2023).
