Nolan Bowers (M.A.)is originally from Hayti, South Dakota. He received his undergraduate degree and master's degree from South Dakota State University. As Part of his master's degree, Nolan completed a thesis operationalizing the philosopher Karl Jasper's theory of existential communication and assisted in coaching the forensics team.
His primary research interest lies in interpersonal communication through dyadic communication. He is also highly interested in how emotion is conveyed through communication, as well as instructional communication. During his time at Ohio University, he has been serving as assistant coach for the forensics team.
