
Peace Chinenye Nwachukwu is a PhD student in OHIO's School of Communication Studies and situates her research on rhetoric, culture and political communication with further emphasis on how discourse and rhetoric shapes public opinion and policy decisions. This work is significant for understanding how discourse and rhetoric influence public opinion and policy decisions, thereby informing strategies for effective communication and governance.
Peace is from Nigeria and holds a bachelor’s in mass communication from the prestigious National Open University of Nigeria. She also worked as a communications specialist at one of Nigeria's leading media outlets, African Independent Television. She is an advocate of peace and good governance, having volunteered and coordinated projects for Electoral College, an NGO that is committed to promoting good governance through political literacy. Peace is also a climate change advocate, having served as the host/anchor for a weekly Climate Wednesday space for International Climate Change development Initiative, where she engaged in several projects aimed at creating awareness on climate change and climate actions in Nigeria.
