Darryl Graves
Darryl Graves is an experienced executive leader, manager and trainer. He has spent over 30 years as a corrections professional, serving in such capacities as corrections officer, unit manager, deputy warden and his current position as a reentry administrator for the ODRC's Office of Reentry. In this role, Darryl is responsible for fostering the initiation, growth and sustainability of local reentry coalitions in 43 counties across Southern and Central Ohio. Other responsibilities have included managing reentry grants totaling over $1 million and functioning as lead administrative staff for the Ohio Ex-Offender Reentry Coalition. Mr. Graves has been instrumental in the progressive restructuring of Ohio's prison system as it relates to preparing incarcerated adults for successful reentry and engaging families in the reentry process.
Darryl is a Certified Public Manager, a designation earned through completion of the Certified Public Manager program, a nationally accredited, comprehensive management development curriculum. Mr. Graves is also a Certified Coach Practitioner, a certified Master Trainer for essential leadership skills, and an experienced leadership and strengths coach who uses Gallup CliftonStrengths Assessment in his coaching. He holds a BA in psychology and has extensive executive training including completion of the Executive Leadership Institute at Ohio University's Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs as well as Creating Collaborative Solutions - Innovations in Governance at Harvard Kennedy School.
