Activating brown adipose tissue (BAT) could have far-reaching health benefits in combating obesity and obesity-related complications. My research interest focuses on how intraperitoneally administered Apolipoprotein A-IV increases thermogenesis in brown adipose tissue through activation of sympathetic activity.
