Jeremy Henkel, Ph.D, joined Ohio University in June 2023, as associate director for faculty programming in the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Assessment.
Henkel comes to Ohio from Wofford College in Spartanburg, SC, where he was associate professor of philosophy. He has several years' experience in faculty development, during which he developed and implemented programs in faculty mentoring, new faculty orientation, and improved teaching efficacy. Most recently, he served for two years as the interim director of their Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning.
Henkel has an M.A. and Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Hawai'i at Manoa, and a B.A. in philosophy from Whitman College in Walla Walla, WA.
