Jim Henderson is an adjunct instructor in Ohio University’s Russ College of Engineering and Technology. He received his M.B.A. from Ohio Dominican University in May 2010 and Bachelor of Arts from Capital University in Management Information Systems in December 2000. He served PACCAR Inc., an innovator, and leader in the Heavy and Medium Duty Truck Market, for 18 years as Unit Manager, Six Sigma Black Belt and Master Black Belt at the Kenworth Plant in Chillicothe, Ohio. In these roles, he was responsible for Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing, training hundreds of business improvement specialists across PACCAR and supplier network from all over the world. He has used the reporting and financial methodologies taught in this course to save companies millions of dollars in their processes and systems. Jim also assisted Ohio University in implementing the Six Sigma initiative by training professors in the Six Sigma methodology and also mentoring undergraduate students as Master Black Belt offering real-world perspective to their senior design projects. Jim is married to Becky, and they have one daughter, Caitlin who is married to Michael. Jim and Becky have two grandchildren Jonathan (7) and Kiersten (2 Months). They live in Zanesville, Ohio.
