The Economic Development and Employer Planning System (EDEPS):
An analytic tool for business, education, workforce and economic planners, EDEPS facilitates the analysis of industry health, population trends, labor supply and demand, and market potential.

Use Cases:
- Review a list of high skill, high wage, and high demand (in-demand) occupations in the State of Ohio and link to the information below about them.
- See the number of graduates in each CIP code academic program
and by each institution.
- Examine current degree/certificate production in given academic programs either nationally or by state. When examining a state, a table of the number of degree/certificate completers at each academic institution within the state is available.
- Demand by industry for employees in occupations by Standard Occupational Classification code (SOC)

- Market demand can be viewed at the national or state level and state markets can be further broken down into city/regional areas.
- Information on occupations within each Standard Occupational Code (SOC) can be viewed as well as projected growth rate, median annual wage, typical educational level, work experience, or training required, and the percentage of people in the field that are self-employed.
- Understand industry staffing patterns, i.e. what occupations does an industry hire and in what proportions
